MEET OUR FOUNDER

Mark D. Goldstein, P.E.

Not your typical engineer, Mr. Goldstein has an extremely diverse background in engineering, environmental, safety, and construction projects spanning over 30 years. He's a Civil Engineer by education (Virginia Tech); however, he has worn many hats over the years: including engineering technician, carpenter, instructor, project manager, project engineer, program manager, and president, to name a few.

Mr. Goldstein has extensive technical and engineering experience and a varied background in environmental engineering, safety, wastewater treatment, and construction. Skills and experiences include: managing groundwater and soil remediation system design, installation, and operation; design, build, and operation of wastewater pretreatment systems; site contamination investigations; corrective action plans (CAPs); Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs); safety and environmental compliance management (OSHA, EPA, DOT); and industrial hygiene.

​In the most recent years, Mr. Goldstein has directed and  developed numerous professional training courses and trained over 2,000 personnel in commercial, manufacturing, and government in numerous subjects including: OSHA HAZWOPER, RCRA Hazardous Waste, Spill Response, Arc Flash Safety, DOT HazMat Shipping, and Confined-Space Entry.

​In his spare time, Mark likes to play his guitar, work in his recording studio, hike, and spend quality time with his wife, kids, grandkids, and dogs.
