Not your typical engineer, Mr. Goldstein has an extremely diverse background in engineering, environmental, safety, and construction projects spanning over 30 years. He's a Civil Engineer by education (Virginia Tech); however, he has worn many hats over the years: including engineering technician, carpenter, instructor, project manager, project engineer, program manager, and president, to name a few.
Mr. Goldstein has extensive technical and engineering experience and a varied background in environmental engineering, safety, wastewater treatment, and construction. Skills and experiences include: managing groundwater and soil remediation system design, installation, and operation; design, build, and operation of wastewater pretreatment systems; site contamination investigations; corrective action plans (CAPs); Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs); safety and environmental compliance management (OSHA, EPA, DOT); and industrial hygiene.
In the most recent years, Mr. Goldstein has directed and developed numerous professional training courses and trained over 2,000 personnel in commercial, manufacturing, and government in numerous subjects including: OSHA HAZWOPER, RCRA Hazardous Waste, Spill Response, Arc Flash Safety, DOT HazMat Shipping, and Confined-Space Entry.
In his spare time, Mark likes to play his guitar, work in his recording studio, hike, and spend quality time with his wife, kids, grandkids, and dogs.
